Orange Bag Tag Placement
Canister and Recycling Stations
The Crooked Lake Township Canister Station is located on Woods Bay Drive just North of downtown Outing, adjacent to the recycling containers.
Garbage is accepted in 33 gallon garbage bags with the township orange bag tags attached, during posted hours. Bags tags are sold at:

Crooked Lake Café, Shadberry Liquor Store, and Ace Hardware in Emily.
The Cost is $6 per tag or $30 for a sheet of 5 tags.
Items are accepted in accordance with Cass County policy.

Saturday: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Monday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Winter Hours (Labor Day to Memorial Day)
Saturday 9:30am - 1:30pm
Monday 10:00am - 2:00pm
NOTICE: Crooked Lake Township is no longer accepting hazardous materials at the Canister Station.
**Hazardous materials include unwanted or unusable paints and paint products, adhesives, mercury products, corrosives, pesticides, oven cleaning products, old gasoline, automotive products (except no motor oil), electronics, fluorescent bulbs and batteries.**
